About Michigan Paving & Materials Co.

Michigan Paving operates six asphalt plants and, with our partner companies, we operate several aggregate and materials locations, including one of the largest liquid asphalt terminals in Michigan.

Since we control the source and quality of the aggregates and liquid asphalt cement, we meet or exceed all specifications for every job — no matter how tight the schedule.

With the capability of producing more than 600 tons of asphalt per hour at each of our plants and access to more than 10 fully-equipped paving crews, we can efficiently handle any size paving project.

Each facility can also arrange for other products needed in the paving process, such as stone base, tack coat, and delivery to your job.

Talk with a Michigan Paving expert today to find out how the latest technological developments can improve the quality of your next project and reduce the carbon footprint your company or municipality leaves on the surrounding community.

Giving back to our community

We believe in making a positive impact wherever we go. Some organizations we regularly support include the American Cancer Society, the Boy Scouts of America, Little Blessings Veteran and Community Outreach, Walk to End Alzheimer’s, Toys for Tots, 4-H, and many more.  If you have an idea or request for something we can contribute to your community, please contact us today.

Dedication to sustainability

Our environmentally responsible processes reduce emissions, conserve resources, and help pave the way for a greener future. We reuse more than 1 million tons of asphalt every year, and our asphalt plants are in compliance with all applicable air and land quality requirements.

Did you know?

Asphalt pavements require approximately 20 percent less energy to produce and construct than other pavements.

Asphalt pavements are faster to construct and rehabilitate than other types of pavements.

More than 70 million tons of reclaimed asphalt pavement (RAP) are recycled and reused annually.

Modern hot mix asphalt plants with counterflow drum designs and baghouse filters significantly reduce emissions and meet strict EPA air quality standards.

Today, the EPA considers asphalt plants to be a very minor source of industrial pollution.
